Dr. LaVaughn M. Henry is the Director of U.S. Economic Analysis for the PMI Group. Dr. Henry is responsible for developing PMI's economic, housing and mortgage market forecasts. He is an accomplished public speaker and regularly presents to various industry, government and other professional organizations. He co-authors the company's premier economic publications: The Economic and Real Estate Trends Report and The Housing & Mortgage Market Review. He has led in the development of the company's next generation of econometric models that forecast the likelihood of home price declines, the quarterly forecast of home price appreciation in each of the nation's 381 MSAs, and various other predictive tools used in the forecasting and assessment of the housing and mortgage markets. Dr. Henry received both his Doctorate and Masters degrees from Harvard University in the field of Economics, specializing in the areas of Finance and Industrial Organization.
