After graduating from Grove City College in 1984, Jeff entered the United States Marine Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant. After serving his country for six years, he was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain.

Following the Marine Corps, he began his career in mortgage banking as a loan officer with First Fidelity Mortgage located in Tyson's Corner, VA. He successfully developed business through referral relationships with Real Estate agents in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC areas.

From there, Jeff moved into management, taking a position with Prudential Home Mortgage. As the nation's largest non-conforming mortgage conduit at the time, Jeff worked closely with many of the industry's leading lenders. Managing the Lender Express division's rate-lock and funding desks, he worked closely with traders, underwriters, and loan auditors to ensure that loans were properly priced and purchased in preparation for securitization.

Jeff then accepted a position on the west coast with Countrywide Mortgage Conduit (forerunner to Indy Mac Bank). There he served as Sr VP of Operations and was responsible for purchasing non-conforming residential mortgage loans which were then sold direct to various Wall Street investment firms. In this capacity, Jeff developed and implemented innovative programs to ensure the high standards and production levels required by Wall Street MBS investors were always achieved.

After taking a sabbatical from the mortgage industry, Jeff went back into the business in 2002 when he became a loan originator once again. He served as the Sr Loan Officer and General Manager for T.W. Lewis Mortgage based in Tempe, AZ for over approximately 5 years. During his tenure there, Jeff's annual origination volume increased over 40% year-over-year, culminating in over $100,000,000 in origination volume in his final year there.

In June of 2007, Jeff made the move to National City Mortgage for two years where he served as a Sr Mortgage Banker and Branch Sales Manager.  Jeff recently took a new position with Wallick & Volk Mortgage Bankers where he has a full array of residential mortgage products and an outstanding support team to enable to deliver superior service to his clients.
